Apart from Chia seeds, it is no surprise that acai is now one of the most popular Superfoods. I finally got onto the bandwagon and bought a packet of acai from navitas naturals! I get asked a lot about where I buy my Superfoods from... Well, I get them from trusty iherb! ;) For the past week, I have been obsessed with nana ice cream!! In case you aren't aware of what it is, it's basically banana ice cream made from mainly frozen bananas. A vegan and super healthy alternative to store bought ice creams.
All you need is 2 ingredients and you can go crazy with the toppings! For me, I prefer adding fruits or granola into my breakfast bowls.
Acai Nana Ice Cream Makes 1 bowl
Ingredients: 4 frozen bananas 1 tbs acai
Directions: Place frozen bananas into a food processor/blender Add in acai Blend together
See, super simple isn't it? Fuss free and easy to make. It's my go-to breakfast these days! You can also make an acai smoothie bowl using the same ingredients. But to make it more liquid-y, add in about 1 cup of coconut water!
I topped mine with shredded almonds, rawnola and dragon fruit the other day :)
